Jared Blackwood

Jared has been in the insurance world since 2011, starting at Bain Agency, Inc and eventually purchasing the agency in 2018. In 2021, he helped form Bridgemark Insurance Solutions—expanding into South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska. In 2025 he merged with Insight Capital of Lincoln, Nebraska where he currently serves as COO.

He served on the Independent Insurance Agents of ND Board of Directors and on the National Young Agents Committee. He was elected State National Director to represent Independent Insurance Agents of ND on the IIABA board.  He was appointed to the AAS & MSI board and chaired the Market Access Committee for IIABA.  He was awarded the Big I “Chairman’s Award” for distinguished service to the IIABA in 2025

When Jared is not working, he loves spending time with his wife and 3 kids and enjoys golfing, hunting, and fishing.
